At around 4:20 am World Standard Time on October 11th, MSC REGULUS, a super large container ship with a capacity of up to 13100TEU, experienced engine failure while leaving Hamburg for Antwerp, forcing the voyage to be interrupted, and the ship's schedule may face delays! It is reported that the MSC REGULUS ship arrived at Hamburg from Felixtowe in the early morning of October 10th and left Hamburg for Antwerp in the early morning of October 11th. However, the engine malfunctioned while sailing downstream of the Elbe River, an important waterway of Hamburg.
At around 9:15 pm on the same day, the MSC REGULUS vessel began to be towed back to Hamburg Port by five tugboats, and returned to Hamburg Port at 14:40 pm and anchored there.
