It is reported that Bayonne's port claims to be the closest container terminal to the port entrance, covering an area of approximately 670000 square meters and having a berth of 822.96 meters. It is claimed that its location can reduce the total transportation time by more than four hours. According to reports, Bayonne Terminal also has the highest level of automation and can provide services for ships up to 18000 TEUs.

The Staten Island Terminal covers an area of approximately 75 square meters and provides terminal railway services. It is the only facility in the port with a centralized terminal checkpoint and a 6160.26 square meter refrigerated warehouse. It has a 918.34 meter long continuous berth and six ultra Panamax cranes. In 2015, the berth deepened to 15.24 meters.

According to reports, after the investment, the transportation capacity of the two terminals will increase by up to 80%.
